Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    4 to 5 c. croutons (plain or herbed)
    1/4 c. butter
    tomatoes
    basil, chopped (fresh, if possible)
    8 oz. Havarti cheese
Preparation
    Place butter and onion in skillet and saute.
    Add croutons and mix.
    Place 1/2 of the onion and croutons in an 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
    Cover with tomato slices (1/2-inch thick).
    Repeat layers. Sprinkle with chopped basil.
    Sprinkle with grated Havarti cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
