Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil or drippings
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. corn meal mix
Preparation
    Melt shortening in baking pan.
    Coat bottom with oil.
    Add remaining shortening and remaining ingredients to corn meal mix. Mix and pour in hot pan.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
    Makes 9 to 10 servings.
