Basic Brown Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. pan drippings
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk soup (beef or chicken stock)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 onion, chopped
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. sweet pickle, cut up (optional)
    1 tsp. sweet pickle juice (optional)
    1 Tbsp. tomato catsup
Preparation
    Saute chopped onion in pan. Add flour and brown lightly. Slowly add the liquid, stirring to keep gravy smooth. Add rest of ingredients and simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
