Baked Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. scalded milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat eggs, sugar and salt until blended. Stir in scalded milk and vanilla.
    Pour into a 1 1/2-quart ovenproof pan.
    Pour hot water into a larger pan so level of water is even with the level of the custard, as you put the custard dish into the pan of water while it is baking.
    Sprinkle nutmeg on top of the custard.
    Bake in the 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until when you put a knife in the center and it comes out clean.
