Ingredients

5 Tbsp. sugar
6 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 pkg. Baker's coconut
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter
2 egg whites
4 Tbsp. sugar
1 baked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation

Combine 5 tablespoons sugar, flour and salt in double boiler. Add milk and egg yolks; stir until smooth.
Add 1 cup of the coconut.
Cook over boiling water 5 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly.
Cover.
Cook 10 minutes longer.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla and butter.
