Popped Corn In The Oven - cooking recipe

3/4 qt. popped corn
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Heat oven to 200\u00b0.
Pop the popcorn.
Put half the popped corn in each of 2 baking pans (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
Mix the brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in a saucepan.
Cook and stir over medium heat until it gets bubbles around the edge.
Cook for 5 minutes more, then take the pan off the heat, stir in the soda until it is foamy.
Pour half the sauce over the popped corn in each pan.
Stir it so the popped corn is covered all over.
Bake the caramel corn 1 hour, but stir it every 15 minutes.
Let the caramel corn cool.
