Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. yellow squash
    1/4 c. grated onion
    3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Wash squash and cut into chunks.
    Cook in boiling water until tender.
    Drain.
    Add onion, margarine, cheese, sugar, eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
    Mix well and pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Top with crumbs.
    Bake uncovered at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Freezes well.
    May prepare ahead.
