Cocktail Onion Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. dried onion flakes
    1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. margarine, divided
    2 Tbsp. white vinegar
Preparation
    In a large bowl, measure first 5 ingredients.
    Cut with pastry blender 1/4 cup butter into flour mixture.
    Stir in water and vinegar.
    Knead until blended.
    Preheat oven to 370\u00b0.
    Divide dough into 4 equal pieces.
    Roll each piece (one at a time) into a 12 x 12-inch square (as thin as possible).
    In small pan, melt remaining margarine.
    Brush dough with melted margarine.
    Sprinkle with dried onion flakes.
    Roll into dough with rolling pin.
    Cut dough into 2 1/2 or 3-inch squares.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet, approximately 8 minutes.
    (Do not overbake.)
