Apple Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 medium apples, cored and diced
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Cream margarine.
Add sugar gradually.
Beat eggs until light. Beat into mixture until creamy.
Mix in apples and nuts.
Add flour mixed with baking powder, soda and cinnamon.
Stir lightly into apple mixture.
Turn into a buttered 7 x 11-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares.
