Bachelor Buttons - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. plain unsifted flour
1 c. coconut
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Mix sugar, Crisco and egg in a mixing bowl with a mixer.
Add other ingredients and hand mix.
Roll in small balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Mash down with fingers.
Bake at 370\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
