Frozen Apple-Snow Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    2 c. finely diced unpared apple
    1/2 c. finely diced celery
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
    Add water to pineapple syrup to make 1/2 cup.
    Combine syrup mixture, beaten eggs, sugar, salt and lemon juice.
    Cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly.
    Chill.
    Fold in apple, pineapple, celery and the whipping cream.
