Cream Celery Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. finely sliced celery and leaves
    1/2 small onion, chopped fine
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    chopped parsley
Preparation
    Cook celery and onion in 1 cup water until tender.
    Melt butter and spread in flour, then add milk.
    Cook, stirring, until thickened.
    Add cooked celery with liquid.
    Heat gently, then season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Sprinkle with parsley. Makes 4 cups.
