Bean Medley - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. marjoram
1 can black beans
1 can black-eyed peas
1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. speckled butter beans
smoked jowl bacon or ham hocks
1 can chicken broth
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
1 carrot, finely chopped
1 tsp. minced garlic
Preparation

Put all ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer for one hour, stirring frequently.
Add water if necessary.
