Adelaide'S Old-Fashioned Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    turkey necks, cut into small slices
    6 onions, diced
    1 c. ketchup
    1 can tomatoes or fresh tomatoes
    diced potatoes
    diced carrots
    diced okra
    corn
    shredded cabbage
    shredded carrots (optional)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Salt and pepper turkey necks to taste.
    Cut onions over necks and cook in about 2 cups of water until tender, about 1 hour. Add ketchup and other vegetables, one at a time, until dissolved. Add more water if sauce is too thick.
