Beef Brisket In Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. beef brisket
    1 onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/4 c. chili sauce
    1 clove garlic, minced
    12 oz. beef
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Trim excess fat from brisket.
    Place meat in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Cover with onion slices.
    In bowl, combine chili sauce, brown sugar, garlic and beer.
    Pour over meat.
    Cover with foil.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 3 1/2 hours.
    Uncover and bake 30 minutes more, basting occasionally with juices.
    Remove meat to platter. Skim excess fat from drippings.
    Measure liquid and add water to make 1 cup.
    Blend flour and 1/2 cup water combined with drippings. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
