Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash browns
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 pt. sour cream
    1/2 c. corn flakes
    10 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 can mushroom soup
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Thaw hash browns for 30 minutes.
    Melt 1 1/2 sticks butter. Mix butter with all ingredients except 1/2 cup corn flakes in a casserole dish.
    Use 1/2 stick melted butter and corn flakes for topping.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, uncovered.
