Crumb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    11 single graham cracker squares, crushed
    1 c. coconut
    1/4 c. finely chopped nuts
    1 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    2 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    maraschino cherries
    whipped topping
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a bowl combine crumbs, coconut, nuts, baking powder and salt.
    In a larger bowl beat egg whites until they stand in peaks.
    Fold in sugar with a wooden spoon, then fold in crumb mix. Spoon into a greased pie pan.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cool to room temperature.
    Serve with whipped topping and garnish with maraschino cherries.
