Overnight Green Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    15 oz. can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    10 oz. frozen tiny peas
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    2 large tomatoes
    grated Cheddar
    6 slices crumbled bacon
    4 hard-boiled eggs
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Layer first 5 ingredients.
    Seal with mayonnaise and sprinkle with sugar.
    Cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate overnight. Layer tomatoes (sliced and cut), eggs and bacon.
    Cover with cheese.
