Jean'S Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. peeled apples, sliced
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    4 to 6 slices loaf bread, ends trimmed
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Mix apples and water in casserole dish.
    Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over top.
    Cut each slice of bread into four strips. Cover apples with strips.
    Melt margarine; add sugar, water, egg, flour and vanilla.
    Mix well and pour over bread strips.
    Cover good.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until brown.
