Low-Fat Microwave Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. turkey Italian sausage
    1 large (28 to 32 oz.) jar or can spaghetti sauce
    1/2 c. water
    1 (15 oz.) carton low-fat of fat-free cottage cheese
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    9 lasagna noodles (uncooked)
    1/2 lb. low-fat Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1/2 c. grated low-fat grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Brown turkey and Italian sausage; drain.
    Stir in spaghetti sauce and water and heat through.
    Meanwhile, combine cottage cheese, egg, salt and pepper.
    Spoon 1/2 cup sauce into 12 x 8-inch baking dish (microwave-safe).
    Alternately layer noodles, egg mixture, Mozzarella cheese and sauce, forming 3 layers.
    Cook, covered, with plastic wrap, on High for 8 minutes and on Medium-low for 35 to 38 minutes or until noodles are tender.
    Let stand, covered, for 15 minutes before serving.
