Bleu Cheese Party Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream or sour half and half
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. Bleu cheese
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 tsp. each: oregano, parsley, salt and granulated garlic
    1 (6 oz.) can small shrimp
    finely chopped onion, pimento stuffed olives (sliced), grated Cheddar cheese, chopped fresh tomatoes (all for garnish)
Preparation
    Soften gelatin and water in a small pan.
    Bring to just a boil, stirring to dissolve gelatin, and remove from heat.
    Set aside. Combine sour cream, cheeses and spices in a processor container or mixer bowl and blend well.
    Add gelatin and blend again.
    Pour into a 10-inch decorative pie plate and refrigerate until firm, overnight is best.
    Garnish with shrimp, onion, olives, cheese and tomatoes as desired.
    Serve with crackers or bread rounds.
