Yellow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. shortening
    3 eggs
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening.
    Add eggs one at a time, then dry ingredients with milk, then vanilla.
    Put in a 9 x 13-inch pan or two layer cake pans.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Makes a nice cake for birthday or any other occasion.
