Country Company Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg, unbeaten
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water.
    Scald milk.
    Combine shortening, sugar and salt to milk.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Blend in egg.
    Add these to flour mixture.
    Can be stored at this point up to 2 days in the refrigerator.
    Shape and brush with melted butter.
    Cover; let rise.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
