Almond Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. raw chicken
    1 can bamboo shoots
    1 can water chestnuts
    1 c. broccoli
    1 c. celery
    1 c. carrots
    2 2/3 c. water
    1/2 Tbsp. salt and garlic
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. Accent
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Chop chicken into
    bite-size pieces.
    Mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch and egg by hand into chicken.
    Add vegetable oil to give chicken a glazed
    look.
    Put
    enough
    oil
    in\tskillet to cover chicken.
    Make oil
    hot.
    Add chicken and stir-fry until done.
    Add vegetables and
    stir
    for
    2 minutes.
    Drain excess oil.
    Combine water, garlic salt, sugar, Accent and soy sauce. Add to\tchicken
    mixture.
    Bring to a boil.
    Mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch\twith
    a
    little
    water.
    Add to sauce and thicken. Put in a dish and top with almonds.
