Chicken Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 c. (diced, uncooked) chicken breast
    1 c. (chopped, fresh) mushrooms
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. cooked egg noodles
Preparation
    Place onions and mushrooms in a 1 1/2-quart ovenware casserole dish with 2 tablespoons oil.
    Cover.
    Cook vegetables for 5 minutes or until onion is transparent.
    Stirring once, add chicken.
    Cover.
    Continue cooking chicken and vegetables 7 to 9 minutes or until chicken is cooked, stirring once.
    Drain.
    Blend in sour cream and salt.
    Stir well.
    Serve over hot noodles.
