Meltaways - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 eggs
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine butter, oil, sugars and vanilla extract in a large bowl; beat until creamed.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Sift flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt together, add to creamed mixture and mix well.
    Chill 2 hours (at least).
