German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 potatoes (with jackets on)
    1 medium onion
    6 slices bacon
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Boil potatoes with jackets on.
    Peel and slice.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add onion.
    Cut up bacon and brown.
    Pour over potatoes.
    Mix and let stand for about 1 hour.
    Mix sugar and flour.
    Add to vinegar and water.
    Bring to a boil and add to potatoes.
