Mashed Potatoes Royale - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 medium potatoes
butter
salt and pepper
2 c. sour cream
4 or 5 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
garlic salt to taste
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese (optional)
Preparation

Cook and mash potatoes with a little less milk than usual. Add regular butter, salt and pepper.
Stir in sour cream, Parmesan cheese and garlic salt to taste (may add 1 cup grated Cheddar).
Pour into buttered 11 x 7-inch casserole.
Cover and refrigerate all day or overnight.
Uncover.
Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
May be frozen before baking. Longer standing improves flavor.
