Colcannon(Irish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. potatoes, peeled and cut up
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 lb. chopped kale or cabbage (equals 2 c.)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    butter
Preparation
    In a 2-quart saucepan, cook potatoes in boiling salted water about 20 minutes or until tender.
    Drain.
    Transfer potatoes to a mixer bowl and mash.
    Add the milk, salt and pepper.
    Beat at low speed of electric mixer until fluffy.
