Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 green peppers
    12 red peppers
    15 small onions (or 4 large)
    1 1/2 pints vinegar
    3 cups sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Remove seeds from peppers, grind with onions.
    Pour boiling water over mixture.
    Let stand 4 minutes.
    Drain.
    Make solution of 1/2 pint vinegar and 1 pint water.
    Pour over mixture and bring to a boil.
    Let stand for 10 minutes and drain again.
    Add 1 pint vinegar, salt, sugar and mustard seed.
    Boil for 5 minutes. Bottle and seal.
    makes 4 to 4
    1/2 pints.
