Patio Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 tsp. grated onion
    1 c. chopped ham or tuna
    1/2 c. chopped sweet or dill pickles
    1 c. Swiss cheese, cut into small pieces
Preparation
    Cook frozen vegetables 2 minutes in water and salt.
    Add rice; stir to moisten all rice.
    Remove from heat.
    Let stand 5 minutes, then stir in mayonnaise, pickles and onion.
    Add meat and cheese, mixing lightly.
    Serve on crisp greens with tomato wedges.
