Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    6 eggs, separated
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    juice of 1 lemon
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until very creamy.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift flour three times.
    Add soda to sour cream blending together.
    Add flour and sour cream mixture alternately to the sugar mixture.
    Blend well. Add flavorings.
    Beat egg whites until stiff, then fold into mixture.
    Pour into well-greased, lightly floured tube pan or loaf pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven.
