Dover Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar together.
Add eggs and beat until creamy.
Sift flour and baking powder together and add alternately with milk and vanilla.
Beat
until smooth.
Bake in tube pan for an hour.
Test for doneness.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
Top with powdered sugar.
