Pineapple Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 cans (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
    2 pkg. (7 oz.) flaked coconut
    1 (3.75 oz.) pkg. whole almonds, toasted and chopped
    1 c. melted butter
    2 tsp. freshly grated lemon peel
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Drain pineapple well.
    Combine next ingredients (6).
    Combine flour and baking powder.
    Beat into pineapple mixture until blended.
    Spoon by heaping tablespoon 1-inch apart onto greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 13 to 15 minutes.
    Remove to wire rack to cool.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Makes 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
