Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts, broken into pieces
    4 c. apples, with peelings, cored and chopped
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Sift flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
    Add small amounts to creamed mixture until well blended.
    Add nuts and apples.
    Mixture will be very stiff.
    Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
