Crusty Corn Meal Loaves - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 to 8 c. all-purpose flour (unsifted)
1 1/4 c. yellow corn meal
2 1/2 tsp. salt
2 packs dry yeast
1/3 c. soft butter
2 1/4 c. warm water
2/3 c. honey (mild)
Preparation

Mix 2 1/2 cups flour, corn meal, salt and dry yeast.
Using an electric mixer, add soft butter.
Gradually add water and honey; beat.
Add 1/2 cup flour and beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Stir in additional flour.
Make a stiff dough.
