Kid'S Favorite French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bread
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    butter for frying
Preparation
    Beat together milk and eggs.
    Add salt and vanilla.
    Dip bread into mixture until soaked.
    Fry in butter on both sides until golden brown.
    Serve with maple syrup or jam.
