Chicken Tetrazzini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter
    5 Tbsp. flour
    2 1/2 c. chicken broth
    11/4 c. half and half
    1/2 c. dry white wine (optional)
    3/4 lb. mushrooms, fresh or canned
    8 oz. spaghetti, cooked
    3 to 4 c. chicken, cooked and slivered
    3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, shredded
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt 2 tablespoons butter, mix in flour and slowly blend in the broth, cream and wine.
    Cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes after mixture starts to simmer.
    Stir in 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Measure out 1 cup of this sauce and save.
    Add rest of Parmesan cheese and mix.
    Melt remaining butter, add mushrooms and brown.
