Garlic-Onion Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh garlic
    1 (1 oz.) pkg. prepared onion soup mix
    1 pt. sour cream (low-fat)
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 scallion, chopped
Preparation
    In skillet over medium heat, saut garlic in oil 10 minutes or until golden brown.
    In bowl, whisk together garlic and remaining ingredients.
    Chill for a half hour or overnight.
