Almost Stuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sliced sausage
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 medium bell pepper
    1 medium onion
    1 can pasta-style tomatoes
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    1 c. rice
    cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Cook sausage and ground meat in skillet and drain.
    Put bell pepper and onion with meat mixture; cook a few seconds and drain. Add tomatoes; cook with water and cabbage.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook 15 minutes; lid on.
    Cook rice in separate pot, then add to mixture.
    Cook 5 more minutes.
    Slice in 1-inch slices. Wedge a slice of cheese in each slice and pour cream of mushroom soup in and bake until hot and melted.
