Hamburg Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. beef broth (3 beef cubes and 3 c. water)
2 c. chicken broth (3 chicken cubes and 3 c. water)
1 qt. tomato juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 lb. browned ground beef
2 medium chopped onions
2 carrots, chopped
2 potatoes, chopped
1/4 c. barley
Preparation

Simmer together until tender.
This freezes well.
