Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. shrimp
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3 Tbsp. salad oil
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 dash Tabasco
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 jar (small) mushrooms (optional)
Preparation

The shrimp may be cooked separately and added to the Creole or the shrimp may be peeled and deveined and added for the last 5 or 6 minutes while cooking the Creole.
Another option is to saute the shrimp in butter and add just before serving.
Whatever you choose to do, do not overcook the shrimp.
