Tamale Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 1/2 c. tomatoes
    1 c. cornmeal
    2 c. ground beef
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. paprika
    3/4 c. canned corn
Preparation
    Fry onion in shortening until brown; add tomatoes.
    When hot, stir in cornmeal; cook 10 minutes.
    Stir to prevent lumping. Remove from stove; add seasoning, meat, corn and eggs.
    Blend well and pour in greased pan.
    Bake for 45 minutes.
