Meals On Wheels Pound Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. margarine
3 c. sugar
4 c. flour
6 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. lemon or vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Ingredients should be at room temperature.
Grease and flour 1-pound loaf pans.
(Baby loaf pans 5 3/4 x 3 1/4 x 2-inch.)
Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flour and milk alternately, beginning and ending with flour.
Add flavoring.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
Cool in pans on wire racks 10 minutes.
Turn out on racks to finish cooling.
After completely cool, wrap each in aluminum foil and gift wrap with love.
