Gran'S Southern Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium potatoes, cubed
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. onions, chopped
    1 carrot, diced
    2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 qt. milk
    2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    1/2 c. corn
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In large pot, cook first 5 ingredients in enough water to cover potatoes.
    Cook until tender.
    Add next 5 ingredients.
    Make a soft dough by stirring 2 beaten eggs, 1/8 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper into 2 tablespoons of water.
    Add enough flour to form a soft dough.
    Pinch small bits of dough off and drop into soup.
    Let soup come to a boil.
    If desired, more milk may be added.
