Family Oven Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 broiler/fryer chicken, cut up
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 tsp. salt
    garlic powder to taste
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 c. potatoes, sliced thin
    1 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add lemon juice, salt, garlic and pepper.
    Place chicken in butter mixture and turn to coat.
    Remove and set aside. Reserve remaining butter mixture.
    In large, shallow baking pan, place potatoes evenly over bottom.
    Pour broth over potatoes. Place chicken, skin side up, in single layer on top of potatoes. Pour remaining butter mixture over chicken.
    Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for about an hour.
    Uncover. Place under broiler for 5 minutes or until chicken is brown and crisp.
