Plain Italian Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    1 c. soft Crisco
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
Preparation
    In a bowl, mix all ingredients.
    With electric mixer, add 2 cups flour, a little at a time.
    Fold in an additional 2 cups or more flour until stickiness disappears.
    Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet and round with fingers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown.
    Makes 5 dozen or more. Cool.
    Dip top of cookie into thin, watery frosting of confectioners sugar, lemon extract and milk or water.
