Butterfingers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. soft shortening (half butter)
1/3 c. sugar
1 2/3 c. sifted flour (plain)
2/3 c. chopped nuts
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix ingredients together thoroughly.
Drop by tablespoon onto floured board.
Roll with hand.
Cut into finger lengths and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until brown. Remove from pan with a spatula and roll in sifted confectioners sugar.
Be careful when you take the cookies from the oven as they will break easily.
