Okra Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cut okra slices
1 egg
dash of pepper
4 Tbsp. bacon drippings
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. self-rising corn bread mix
1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix and put in greased iron pan.
Put in cold oven.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until set and brown.
