Creole Okra - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 slices bacon, diced
1/2 c. onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. sliced okra
1 c. uncooked rice
2 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 fresh tomato, peeled and chopped
dash of red pepper
Preparation
-
Put okra in pan of cold water; bring to a boil.
Drain.
Do this 3 times. The last time, add a little salt.
It's ready to eat.
